Health Plan of Nevada and Sierra Health and Life’s Medical Management and Clinical Review teams utilize nationally developed guidelines and policies to determine the appropriateness of medical services. The health plan will be transitioning from MCG (formerly known as Milliman Care Guidelines) to InterQual Guidelines for dates of service December 1, 2022.
